Who runs this site

panigiriatinou.gr is an unofficial guide to the village festivals of Tinos. It is run by Georgios Veroiotis, host of the Magna Lux holiday houses in Dyo Choria and Triantaros on Tinos, who is also the controller of your data. That is why magnalux.gr appears as the guide's sponsor.

What data we process

You do not need an account to read the guide and we do not ask for your details. If you message us (through the contact or advertising form, on WhatsApp or by email), we receive only what you choose to send, such as your name, email and message, and use it to reply (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; for advertising enquiries, steps before entering into a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep correspondence only as long as our exchange needs it. If you ask us to keep you posted about the festival programme, we keep your email or number for that purpose only, with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), and delete it whenever you ask.

Cookies and statistics

• Google Analytics 4 (Google): loads and sets cookies (_ga) only if you click "Accept" in the cookie message. It shows us, anonymously, how many visitors come and from where. Data may be transferred to the USA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
• Cookie-free statistics: we count visits with Vercel Web Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics, which use no cookies and do not identify you (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Your choices (language, cookie answer) are stored only on your device.

You can change your choice at any time: Cookie settings (the link is also at the bottom of every page).

Third-party services

• Hosting: the site is hosted by Vercel (USA, standard contractual clauses).
• Fonts are served from our own site, not from Google.
• Instagram: the reels on the home page and the Dyo Choria page load from Instagram (Meta) only if you click "Show the reels" or have accepted cookies. Meta's privacy policy then applies, and Meta may set its own cookies.
• Forms: messages from the site's forms (contact, advertising, programme updates) reach our inbox through Web3Forms (Web3Creative, India), which processes them on our behalf under standard contractual clauses and filters spam. The service keeps a copy for up to three years.
• Links to WhatsApp, Google Maps, Instagram, Facebook and other sites open their own pages, under their own terms and privacy policies.

Partner links and sponsor

Some car rental links go to DiscoverCars through its partner programme and are marked "partner link". If you book through them we may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you. We receive no personal data about you; DiscoverCars sets its own cookies on its own website to attribute the booking. The sponsor magnalux.gr belongs to the same person who runs this guide.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for access, rectification, erasure or restriction of your data and for portability, object to processing, and withdraw any consent you gave at any time. Just send us a message. You can also lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
